Our New England boomerang has landed, right back where we started seven years ago. The majestic city of Portland, Maine. “The way life should be.” Believe that. More photos soon.

Been in the mountains for 8 days and nights…with 8 other amazing women. We wrote, painted, did yoga & thai massage, cowered under plastic garbage bags in hailstorms, danced naked on the peak…i cannot do it justice with mere words. My friend and fellow illustrator, Jenny Kostecki, has gone into more detail with additional pics of the trip here (photo credit goes to her, drawing mine)  Now i’m back in the saddle with some more fun lettering jobs….will post soon.

Hows it going again! This is my package design that I came up with, its cheap and looks professional, I think. Description: Its made out of sturdy foam board and held with packaging tape. It doesn’t need a yellow envelope, In the front cover there is going to be a personal drawing of some sort for each client. In the inside I made a cut out, to fit three printout samples for the client, on the left side I but my business cards and an envelope that has a letter that explain a little about my self and appointments to the client.

Hand-lettered favor for a friend of mine I did a few months back. She wanted to present her boss with an anniversary gift that celebrated the leaving of an unwanted business partner. Haha. So they chose this poster and asked me to personalize it with some lettering of one of my favorite sayings.

Hand-lettering is not a strength of mine. It took me a dozen tries to get it to this point.

Done with a Pentel Metallic brush pen
They were very happy with it.

Initials of the former business partner

Warped OUT!!!

DSC00277

Me and Joshua Woodward of A Day To Remember…damn are we good lookin’!
I’m wearing a UK only ATTICUS shirt I designed. I wish they would have made them available in the US.

Now that the 2008 Warped Tour is over and in the bag I can concentrate on a few other projects with Atticus. Can’t talk about any of it right now but they will be cool.

In the meantime check out these pics Mark Bubb - Man of Mystery, Music and Mid West roots - took while on tour. If you stopped by the Atticus booth then you met Mark, and threw cash at him for one of my shirts. Or laughed out loud when I when he pointed to me and told you I designed the shirts.

Shirts are now available at:
HOT TOPIC in the US
SANITY in Australia
